PRINCIPAL'S DIARY

A Look at America's Schools
From Behind the Principal's Desk

For Two Years, Principal E. Keith Dodd Kept a Daily Account
of His Life as a School Principal

The Principal's Diary© is the Product of that Account

On this Date in The Diary's © History:

Monday, May 9. Lawyer's son had been involved in a typical playground pushing and shoving incident. On his legal stationery and in legal terms, the father dictates precisely what the principal may and may not do with or even say to his son without specific permission from him or his wife. He concludes (before signing with the title Esquire) by advising that he considers the matter closed.
